Lives wireless probes for sterilization autoclave calibration

Gometrics supplies an advanced radio temperature probe system to the prestigious manufacturer Raypa for calibration of its sterilization autoclaves.

Raypa, a manufacturer of sterilization autoclaves for laboratories and food analysis with operating facilities in Terrassa (Barcelona), has implemented a pressure and temperature control system that allows it to calibrate the control probes of its autoclaves during the quality control processes required before putting them in the marketplace.

According to the technical managers of the company’s R&D department, this improvement means guaranteeing with maximum accuracy that the temperature of the useful area of the autoclave is the one required for the sterilization processes. In addition, the Lives International probes supplied by Gometrics, being wireless, provide agility, flexibility and accuracy in these calibration processes.

After the familiarization phase of the system by the R&D department, the system will also be used in the helpdesk department; this will allow Raypa to perform on-site qualification at its customers’ premises. Gometrics’ ENAC-accredited laboratory specialists will certify the accuracy of the probes during their lifetime.
