Gometrics has designed and developed a system for on-site calibration of flow meters that are installed in your mill.
It is a highly reliable and versatile system that covers all types of flowmeters: Vortex, mastics, coriolis, ultrasonic, electromagnetic, turbine, etc. This system allows to carry out the calibration and adjustment of your flowmeters, either in your mill or in our laboratory, .
By having an optimum calibration system, the calibration is done in one hour since the instrument is disassembled, avoiding to send the flowmeter to calibrate outside (manufacturers, laboratories).
Thanks to an innovative design, the measurements in our flow bank are robust and resistant to possible turbulence that could occur. Standards are certified by accredited laboratories.
How is this system formed?
The system is composed of an IMPULSION unit and a MEASUREMENT unit:
- PATTERN SET– Flowmeter 1: 0 – 40.000 Kg / h, DN50, accuracy of 0.15%, coriolis- Flowmeter 2: 0 – 5,000 kg / h, DN15, accuracy of 0.15%, coriolis
- CONTROL PANEL– Automatic flow control- Recorder of the output signals of the equipment to be calibrated (DUT) and of the standard to evaluate the behavior of the DUT
- DRIVE UNIT– Stainless steel centrifugal pump 316 L with flow rate up to 80 m³ / h- 316 L stainless steel centrifugal pump with flow rate up to 10 m³/ h
How does this calibration system work?
The system works in closed circuit. The test flow, once circulated by the equipment to be calibrated (DUT) and by the master (MASTER), is discharged to a large capacity tank.The pattern measures the temperature and density of the liquid at all times to ensure a greater accuracy in the measurement.
The system is installed in a vehicle perfectly adapted for its transportation, which guarantees its operational conditions without limitation for its transfer to any point of the country.
